Here are the details on how to Apply for University of Ghana, Legon Admission. These include steps on how and where to purchase University of Ghana, Legon E-Voucher for the online application process.

It also includes how both Ghanaian and International applicants can apply for University of Ghana admission. In order to apply for University of Ghana, Legon admission, applicants need to obtain E-Voucher.

1. Purchase University of Ghana (UG) E-Voucher

In order for Ghanaian applicants to apply for University of Ghana, Legon (UG) Admission online, applicants are required to buy E-Voucher. This E-Voucher contains Serial Number and PIN that will be required to access the University of Ghana Admission Portal.

a. Steps to purchasing UG Application voucher via USSD

(Please note that this information applies only to Ghanaian (diploma/HND to degree, undergraduate & postgraduate) applicants. However, it does not apply to Ghanaians (undergraduate) applying from abroad)

Follow these 4 easy steps to purchase an application e-voucher:

Dial *887*18# on all networks
Enter UG
Authorize Payment
Users will get SMS alert (containing Serial Number and PIN) after successful payment.

After successfully completing the transaction, if users are not able to receive and SMS alert, here are the steps to follow to retrieve their UG admission E-Voucher details:

Dial *887*18#
Select "Yes"
Select "Retrieve E-Voucher"
The details of the E-Voucher are displayed (ie. University of Ghana, Serial Number, and PIN)

b. Purchase E-Voucher from Sales centers

Applicants can also purchase their UG E-Voucher at the following financial institutions:

Ecobank
Republic Bank
Agricultural Development Bank (ADB)
Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB)
Zenith Bank
Universal Merchant Bank
Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG)

Applicants will be required to indicate their names, mobile phone numbers and Email addresses on the bank voucher before they are served. Those without Email addresses will however not be disadvantaged. A confirmation of their Pin will be sent to their mobile phones. After purchasing the e-voucher, applicants should CAREFULLY follow the instructions given.

Input your Login credentials (ie. Serial Number and PIN)
Click on Login button to start the online application process
Fill in all the required fields as provided with correct and accurate information. Applicants who make false declaration or withholds relevant information may be refused admission. In the case where a student has enrolled ,he/she will be withdrawn and may be prosecuted.
Review your application to make sure that the right information are filled appropriately
Once done, click on the Submit button to complete the online application.

Applicants are to wait patiently for the their admission outcomes.

2. DIPLOMA/HND To Degree Applicants

After buying the e-voucher, Diploma/HND to Degree applicants are expected to scan and attach the following documents to their online application forms:

Diploma/HND transcripts
Where applicable, certified copies of ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level certificates/result slips
The certificates/results slips should be scanned into one PDF or WORD document and attached to the application form.
The pay-in-slips together with applicants’ certificates/result slips should be scanned and attached to the application form before submission online.

International Students and Ghanaians Applying From Abroad
